Abstract

The article delves into the transformation of the global energy landscape, driven by climate change concerns and the integration of renewable energy sources. It highlights the challenges and opportunities in managing Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) to enhance grid stability and efficiency. The proposed Diagonally Masked Fusion Network (DMFN) model utilizes weather data and known future inputs to accurately forecast energy demand and generation. Additionally, the Alpha-Guided Dwarf Mongoose Optimization (AGDM) algorithm is introduced to optimize energy management, showcasing its effectiveness through various case studies and simulations. The research demonstrates the potential of AI and machine learning techniques in revolutionizing energy management strategies in buildings and microgrids.
