Abstract

The chapter delves into the potential of Virtual Reality (VR) to revolutionize Quranic education, particularly for children. It discusses the challenges in traditional teaching methods and the benefits of VR in enhancing engagement and understanding. The study introduces a VR environment designed to visualize Quranic verses and create an interactive learning experience, guided by educational theories such as Cognitive Load Theory, Flow Theory, and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). The chapter outlines the methodology and initial design of the VR application, highlighting the potential for significant improvements in Quranic education.
