Zusammenfassung

Was ist Entrepreneurship? Entrepreneurship ist etwas anderes als das Management etablierter Betriebe. Das Konzept ist befreit von Zwängen der Eigentümer. Entrepreneurship dient dazu, neue Unternehmen (oder vergleichbare Einheiten) zu gründen und zu entwickeln und mit ihnen ein Geschäft zu betreiben, das sich von bisherigen Vorgehensweisen unterscheidet. Entrepreneurship beschreibt zudem den Prozess, wie Menschen den Entschluss fassen, sich selbstständig zu machen, sich durch geschäftliche Gelegenheiten motivieren zu lassen und die notwendige Entschlossenheit aufbauen, ein neues Unternehmen nicht nur zu gründen, sondern auch in die Etablierung zu führen. Weiterhin findet Entrepreneurship zumeist in besonderen Kontexten statt, die als unsicher, wenig überschaubar und rasch veränderlich gelten.
