Abstract

The article presents a groundbreaking approach to enhancing silicon heterojunction solar cells by developing equiaxed–columnar stacked TCO films. These films, composed of indium oxide doped with zirconium, titanium, and gallium, exhibit superior electrical and optical properties. The stacked structure design optimizes carrier transport paths and increases work function, leading to improved solar cell performance. The study also incorporates an interface modification layer to enhance carrier transport properties at the TCO/a-Si:H(p) interface. The resulting solar cells demonstrate high conversion efficiency, highlighting the potential of this innovative design in advancing photovoltaic technology.
