Abstract

Der Erddruck wird dem Wasserdruck gegenübergestellt, und die damit verknüpften Probleme werden erläutert. Die Theorie von Coulomb wird dargelegt, wobei auf ein sog. Prinzip von Coulomb (ein oft gemachter konzeptueller Fehler) nicht eingegangen wird. Die Verallgemeinerungen der erhaltenen Koeffizienten des aktiven und passiven Erddrucks für Kohäsion, geneigtes Gelände, Auflasten usw. sowie die graphischen Verfahren von Culmann und Engesser werden vorgestellt. Ferner wird die Lösung von Rankine vorgestellt, und auf die Verteilung des Erddrucks wird eingegangen.
