Abstract

This chapter delves into the critical success factors (CSFs) for construction projects in Vietnam, a rapidly growing sector with significant challenges. Through exploratory factor analysis (EFA), the study identifies six major groups of CSFs: organizational and leadership capacity, sustainable development orientation, infrastructure and site conditions, safety and risk control management, stakeholder engagement and coordination, and quality assurance and technical practices. The research highlights the importance of effective project management, stakeholder collaboration, and sustainability in achieving project success. By providing a comprehensive framework, this study offers valuable insights for strategic planners and project participants, aiming to enhance project outcomes and promote sustainable growth in Vietnam's construction industry.
