Abstract

This study delves into the genetic diversity of rice (Oryza sativa L.) genotypes under salinity stress, a critical factor limiting rice production worldwide. Through advanced multivariate statistical methods, including principal component analysis and biplot, the research identifies salt-tolerant genotypes and evaluates their performance under varying salinity levels. The study reveals significant genetic diversity among the genotypes, with notable variations in traits such as plant height, flag leaf length, and grain yield. The findings highlight the potential of certain genotypes to maintain yield under salinity stress, offering valuable insights for breeding programs aimed at developing salt-tolerant rice varieties.
