Abstract

The article delves into the critical components of multi-agent consensus control, focusing on consensus protocols, network topology, and robustness against uncertainties such as deception attacks. It addresses the limitations of existing finite-time and fixed-time consensus methods, which often lack precise control over convergence duration, making them unsuitable for time-sensitive applications. The research introduces a predefined-time consensus method that allows for the specification of a consensus time, a crucial requirement in applications like robotic swarms and network control. The article proposes a novel predefined-time method incorporating an acceleration term, which simplifies computations and reduces computational resource requirements. Additionally, it utilizes a flexible formation task strategy based solely on neighborhood information, enhancing tracking and coordination performance. The event-triggered mechanism further reduces the number of computations and information exchanges required, making it a significant advancement in the field. The article also presents case studies and performance comparisons, demonstrating the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method against deception attacks and disturbances.
