Evolution of the Labor Market: Challenges of the Millennial Generation

The research purpose is to analyze changes in the labor market based on the needs and values of a new generation of young professionals. The authors consider the theory of generations, changes in the interaction between employers and candidates related to the development of digital technologies, open communications, the application of flexible schedules and remote work. The results of sociological surveys of professional aspirations, career preferences and expectations of millennials are summarized.
