Abstract

The article delves into the critical roles of stakeholders and evidence in shaping urban development policies in Nigeria, with a particular focus on health and nutrition. It highlights the importance of engaging diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, private sectors, and community organizations, to foster effective policy formulation and implementation. The study also emphasizes the need for evidence-based policymaking to drive sustainable urban growth, addressing the challenges faced by Nigeria's rapidly urbanizing population. By examining recent policy documents and evaluating their effectiveness, the article offers insights into the current state and future directions of urban development policies in Nigeria.
