Abstract

This chapter presents an experimental analysis of a vapor compression system using hydrocarbon refrigerant enhanced with CuO nanoparticles. The study investigates the impact of nanoparticles on heat transfer characteristics, thermophysical properties, and overall system performance. Key findings include significant improvements in condenser temperature drop, evaporator temperature gain, and coefficient of performance (COP) with the addition of CuO nanoparticles. The research highlights the potential of nanorefrigerants to enhance energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact in refrigeration applications. Detailed experimental procedures and results are provided, offering valuable insights for professionals in the field.
