Abstract

The article explores the experimental investigation of a new wake monitoring method based on underwater thermal tactile. It highlights the importance of protecting marine ecological balance by monitoring unauthorized ship intrusions in marine protected areas. Traditional methods like sonar and radar monitoring have limitations such as high noise and environmental requirements. The proposed method uses micro-thermoelectric generators to detect vortex characteristics, offering a simple structure, low energy consumption, and passive autonomous perception. The study validates the method through indoor experiments, demonstrating its ability to sense the orientation of underwater moving objects and distinguish between different types, such as propellers and fish. This innovative approach enhances the monitoring capabilities of marine protected areas, offering a cost-effective and reliable solution.
