Abstract

The article explores the experimental realization of quantum anonymous veto protocols using IBM quantum computers, focusing on two highly efficient protocols, Protocol A and Protocol B. Protocol A is an iterative protocol using Bell states, while Protocol B is a deterministic protocol employing entangled states such as GHZ states and cluster states. The implementation was conducted on the IBMQ Manila quantum computer, and the results were compared under ideal conditions and in the presence of various types of noise, including amplitude damping, phase damping, bit flip, and depolarizing noise. The study reveals that Protocol A, based on Bell states, performs better than Protocol B under both ideal and noisy conditions. The article concludes by highlighting the potential real-world applications of these protocols, particularly in scenarios where a small number of voters are involved, such as in the UN Security Council.
