Abstract

The study investigates the high-velocity impact resistance of sandwich composites made from luffa fiber and Kevlar, enhanced with nanofiller graphene. The researchers found that the optimal inclusion of graphene significantly improved tensile, flexural, and impact strength, as well as interlaminar shear strength. The composites also exhibited enhanced energy absorption capabilities, making them promising for applications in protective structures and military equipment. The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the mechanical properties and dynamic mechanical behavior of the composites, supported by experimental data and micrograph analysis.
