Abstract

The study investigates the characteristics of rock bursts, particularly ejective rock bursts, under high in-situ stress conditions. It focuses on the role of elastic strain energy and stress concentration in rock bursts, using a novel gas–liquid compound rapid compensation loading system to simulate these conditions. The research identifies different stages of rock burst development and analyzes the failure characteristics, including the distribution and kinetic energy of debris. Acoustic emission characteristics are also studied to understand the microfracture processes during rock bursts. The findings contribute to improving the accuracy of rock burst prediction and ensuring safety in deep underground engineering projects.
