Abstract

The article delves into the complexities of detecting humor and irony in multilingual texts, highlighting the use of stacked embeddings with LSTM to capture diverse contexts. It discusses the challenges of humor and irony detection, the proposed stacked embeddings approach, and the experimental results on various benchmark datasets. The use of multiple word and transformer embeddings, along with document LSTM embeddings, is a key focus, demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed method in capturing the nuances of humor and irony in texts.
