Abstract

The article presents a innovative approach to fabricate a hierarchical NiCo2S4@GO nano-sponge electrode for advanced supercapacitor applications. The study demonstrates that the incorporation of graphene oxide (GO) into NiCo2S4 enhances electron transport and specific surface area, leading to improved electrochemical performance. The unique structure of the NiCo2S4@GO composite results in higher specific capacitance and better rate capability compared to pure NiCo2S4. The research also highlights the potential of this composite as a positive electrode in asymmetric supercapacitors, showcasing excellent cycling stability and energy density. The detailed characterization and electrochemical measurements provide compelling evidence for the superior performance of the NiCo2S4@GO composite, making it a promising candidate for next-generation energy storage devices.
