Zusammenfassung

Die Beschränkung betrifft Diisocyanate, eine Gruppe von Verbindungen mit der chemischen Formel O=C=N−R−N=C=O. In dieser Formel kann R eine aliphatische oder aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffeinheit beliebiger Länge sein. Die am häufigsten verwendeten Diisocyanate sind TDI (Toluoldiisocyanat), MDI (Methylendiphenyldiisocyanat), HDI (Hexamethylendiisocyanat), IPDI (Isophorondiisocyanat), NDI (1,5-Naphtylendiisocyanat), TMXDI (Tetramethylxylylendiisocyanat), HMDI (Dicyclohexylmethandiisocyanat) und NBDI (2,5-Bis-isocyanatomethylbicyclo[2.2.1]heptan). Die Beschränkung bezieht sich auf ihre industrielle und gewerbliche Verwendung, insbesondere wenn die Konzentration von Diisocyanaten einzeln oder in Kombination ≥ 0,1 Gew.-% beträgt.
