Unser Rundgang hat gezeigt, dass Sprache in den Medien viele Formen annehmen und manches bewirken kann; eines aber können Medien gewiss nicht: »die« Sprache insgesamt hinabziehen in die Untiefen der Kulturlosigkeit und des Verfalls. Selbst bei jungen Internetnutzern herrscht ein überraschendes Bewusstsein für die Notwendigkeit, Formenbestände und Regeln zu respektieren. Sprachliche Veränderungsprozesse sind allerdings ebenso natürlich wie unübersehbar.
