Abstract

This chapter details a field study investigating the impact of movies on business professionals. A questionnaire was designed and distributed globally, collecting demographic information and responses regarding the influence of ten selected films on ethical perceptions and professional opinions. Statistical analyses revealed significant relationships between variables such as age, marital status, profession, and tenure, and dimensions like corporate social responsibility, ethical teachings, and changes in ethical sensitivity. The study highlights the potential of movies to shape ethical perceptions and professional opinions, offering insights into the role of media in business ethics. The findings suggest that movies can influence ethical sensitivity and professional views, with certain demographic factors playing a significant role in these perceptions.
