Abstract

This chapter focuses on the numerical solution of the Laplace equation using finite element discretization, a powerful tool for problems where analytical solutions are not feasible. It covers the formulation and solution of governing equations, integral equations for element matrices, and the assembly of element matrices into a global matrix.
