Abstract

This article delves into the intricate world of switched linear systems, focusing on their finite-time control in the presence of asynchronous switching and external disturbances. It introduces an innovative observer-based event-triggered strategy that not only conserves communication resources but also mitigates performance degradation due to delayed controller updates. The study explores the finite-time boundedness (FTB) and input-output finite-time stability (IO-FTS) of these systems, providing a robust framework for understanding and designing systems that require rapid response times. The article presents a detailed analysis of asynchronous switching scenarios, including cases with no triggers and multiple triggers within a system switching interval. It also addresses the critical issue of Zeno behavior, ensuring the stability and reliability of the control system. Through rigorous mathematical modeling and simulation examples, the article demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed strategies, making it an essential read for those seeking to advance the field of control systems.
