Abstract

This chapter delves into the flammability performance of natural fiber-reinforced hybrid composites, focusing on biocomposites and bionanocomposites. It explores the mechanical strength, thermal stability, and fire retardancy of various natural fibers such as hemp, flax, kenaf, jute, sisal, bamboo, and cellulose nanocrystals.
