An essential form of validation of assistance functions are vehicle fleet tests under real conditions on public roads. AVL has developed a new method for rapid geo-based analysis of fleet data. In this process, the data is evaluated on a backend server while the vehicle is still being tested. If deviations in test coverage from the specified test targets become apparent, route planning can be adjusted quickly and in a targeted manner. …
