Abstract

This chapter delves into the creation and analysis of flexible PBAT-based hybrid composites reinforced with core-shell-like CA-enrobed MCC particles. The study focuses on the effects of microstructure, particularly the reinforcements' wrapping, on the dielectric and mechanical properties of these composites. Key findings include the influence of CA enrobing on MCC fibers and the impact of structural defects on dielectric properties. The research also explores the thermal stability and degradation behavior of the composites. The chapter concludes that the microstructure of the composites significantly affects their dielectric properties, with the CA enrobing activity playing a crucial role. The study provides a comprehensive understanding of how different factors influence the performance of PBAT-based hybrid composites, making it an essential read for professionals in the field.
