Abstract

The chapter discusses the importance of privacy protection in social networks due to the increasing amount of data generated by platforms like WeChat and Twitter. It introduces the concept of k-anonymity and its limitations, then presents a novel α-partial isomorphic anonymity (α-PIA) algorithm. This algorithm aims to enhance privacy protection while minimizing information loss, making it a significant advancement in the field of data anonymization. The chapter also provides a comprehensive evaluation of the α-PIA algorithm using real datasets, demonstrating its superior performance compared to existing methods.
