Many biomechanical properties related to the golf swing have been measured in order to develop golf shoe and increase the performance and technique of players. On the other hand the improvements of golf shoe are not so prominent compared to the sophisticated development of golf clubs and balls. The main reason is the lack of a systematic scientific approach to include the analysis of the human adaptive characteristics when using such equipments. The purpose of this study was to make a spatial map of the outsole and identify the main areas of interest to help the designer. The foot pressure, ground reaction force and 3D motion analysis of golf swing were analyzed and the result applied to spikeless golf shoe development. The developed spikeless shoe presented a satisfactory slip resistance in both high/low friction floor.
