Abstract

The chapter delves into the prediction of Bitcoin prices in Indian Rupees using machine learning techniques, highlighting the significance of cryptocurrencies in the financial landscape. It begins with an introduction to cryptocurrencies and their decentralized nature, emphasizing the need for accurate price forecasting due to market volatility. The literature review examines various machine learning models and their applications in cryptocurrency price prediction. The methodology section outlines the use of Python libraries and datasets to retrieve and preprocess Bitcoin price data, followed by the application of machine learning algorithms such as ARIMA, Prophet, LSTM, and XGBoost. The results section presents predicted Bitcoin prices for the next 10 days, showcasing the potential of machine learning in short-term cryptocurrency forecasting.
