Foreword: Special Issue on ESDA 2022

This special issue consists of selected papers presented at the 5th International Conference on Energy Systems, Drives and Automations (ESDA2022), held on 31st December 2022 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The conference covered interdisciplinary areas of electrical, mechanical, computer, electronics, and medical electronics. The conference provided a platform for the participants to share their views and ideas on the latest technological developments. Authors of selected papers from the conference were invited to submit full length papers for possible inclusion in this special issue of Microsystem Technologies (MITE). All papers were refereed according to rigorous journal standards. The review process was coordinated by guest editors, Profs. Pradip Kumar Sadhu, Pranab Kumar Mondal, and Dulal Acharjee. Twenty-two papers were accepted for publication in this issue. We hope that readers find the papers in the issue to be informative. …
