Abstract

The chapter delves into the integration of Digital Twin simulations within the Supply Chain in the context of Industry 4.0. It addresses the roles, integration points, and challenges of Digital Twin applications in the Supply Chain, offering a systematic mapping study to guide industrial professionals. The framework presented leverages the Digital Twin concept and SCOR methodology to enhance real-time monitoring and decision-making, ultimately optimizing production systems throughout their lifecycle.
