Abstract

The article delves into the significance of green Human Resource Management (HRM) practices in enhancing SMEs' performance against Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It introduces a framework that posits green HRM as a critical resource influencing SDG performance, with green exploratory innovation acting as a mediator and developmental culture as a moderator. The study, conducted on 433 SME manufacturing firms in Taiwan, validates the model and offers insights into how SMEs can effectively align green HRM practices with SDG targets. The research contributes to the literature by enriching the Resource-Based View (RBV) and the Stakeholder-Based Extension of RBV, providing a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms through which green HRM practices translate into improved sustainability outcomes.
