Abstract

The article introduces a fully printable, eco-friendly chipless RFID sensor designed for humidity sensing. This sensor operates within a frequency range of 6.3–23.8 GHz and offers a high bit density of 15 bits, enabling it to tag 32,768 unique items. The sensor is made from HP-photopaper, making it suitable for green electronics-based applications. The design is optimized for various flexible laminates and radiating materials, ensuring flexibility and printability. The sensor's performance is validated through simulations and experimental setups, demonstrating its potential for low-cost, environmentally friendly applications in humidity monitoring and tagging.
