Abstract

The article presents a novel g-C3N4/W2N3 heterostructure photocatalyst designed to enhance the photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange under visible light. The study addresses the limitations of pure g-C3N4 by incorporating W2N3 to reduce electron-hole pair recombination and extend light absorption. The heterostructure shows significantly improved photocatalytic activity and stability, highlighting the potential of this approach for efficient wastewater treatment. The research includes detailed characterization and performance evaluation, providing a comprehensive understanding of the photocatalyst's mechanisms and advantages.
