Directly effective CO ₂ savings can only be achieved in the existing vehicle fleet. For this reason, it is important to produce drop-in fuels in accordance with the current EN228 gasoline standard that have a high regeneratively generated content. A first step in this direction was taken as part of the "reFuels - Rethinking fuels" project: with G40, a fuel that has a regenerative content of 40 % by volume and an octane number greater than 100 and is within EN228. …
