A turbogenerator allows energy recovery from throttle losses, excess exhaust gas and waste heat in the relevant engine operating range. The concept presented here by sa-charging solutions, Sonceboz, the IFKM at the KIT and Mercedes-Benz focuses on the easier-to-manage cold side of the engine.
