‘Globalisation’ is used today as a catchword, although many are not fully aware of its meaning and content. Globalisation has become a new philosophy in the running of day-to-day business worldwide. Reducing the time taken to reach distant places has become a global challenge. As twenty-four-hour decision making occurs around the world, those who can not adjust to the speed required face the threat of being left behind in the slippery street of the global village, where even to stay where you are, you have to keep moving.
