Based on the cellular automata theory and fire behavior of grassland fire, this study simulated the spreading process of the grassland fire disaster. Take the severe grassland fire disaster of XiLinGuoLe in May 16, 2005 as a cases, comparing with actual results, this model showed reliable, and this model can provides decision-making for grassland fire management department.
