State-of-the-art powertrains in agricultural machines are subject to evaluation under a range of criteria including fuel consumption, pollutant emissions, vehicle performance, noise level and operator comfort. Many of these criteria influence each other in adverse ways and increase the challenges for the torsional damper positioned between the engine and the gearbox. Based on this requirement profile, ZF has developed and markets a grease-filled lifetime-lubricated torsional vibration damper. …
