Abstract

We report the green method for the synthesis of poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA)–silver nanoparticles hybrid using Palash (Butea monosperma) flower extract. The AgNPs produced were characterized by different techniques, including UV–vis spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy. Synthesized AgNPs–PVA hybrid showed antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli and Bacillus sp.
