Abstract

The study focuses on the growth and biochemical responses of various grass pea genotypes under salt stress conditions generated by irrigation water. It investigates the effects of different salt concentrations on germination, growth parameters such as shoot and root length, and biochemical traits like crude protein and ODAP content. Additionally, the research examines the changes in soil pH and electrical conductivity (EC) under these stress conditions. The results provide valuable insights into the tolerance mechanisms of grass pea, a nutritious legume, and highlight its potential for sustainable agriculture in saline environments.
