Um die zentrale Frage Welche Ansätze sollten KMUs verfolgen, um Blockchain-Technologien effektiv in ihr Dokumentenmanagement zu integrieren, sodass die Vorteile maximiert und die Nachteile minimiert werden? zu beantworten, werden im Gestaltungsteil ein Entscheidungsbaum (decision tree) und ein Lösungseinsatz in Form eines Vorgehensmodells entwickelt. Auf deren Grundlage sollen potentielle Blockchain-Anwender die Praktikabilität dieser Technologie im Dokumentenmanagement für ihr KMU in Erwägung ziehen können.
