Abstract

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is a highly pathogenic and transmissible virus that causes the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, with over 218 million confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 4.5 million death tolls globally as of August 2021.
