Abstract

The chapter delves into the challenges and opportunities of visualizing legal knowledge, emphasizing the importance of integrating AI and knowledge graphs to enhance legal understanding and decision-making. It introduces a 'Knowledge Formula' to conceptualize the factors influencing legal knowledge visualization and presents four scenarios illustrating the potential impact of advanced visualization techniques. Two case studies further demonstrate the practical applications of these methods in legal interpretation and policy-making. The chapter concludes by highlighting the need for interdisciplinary collaboration to advance legal knowledge visualization and emphasizes the role of AI-based tools in shaping the future of legal practice.
