Abstract

The article discusses the critical issue of tellurium pollution in wastewater and the need for effective recovery methods. It introduces a hierarchical flower-like ZnO–Ag@Cellulose composite that demonstrates excellent adsorption properties for tellurium, along with significant antifouling and antibacterial capabilities. The composite's preparation, characterization, and adsorption mechanisms are thoroughly investigated. The study highlights the potential of this composite in addressing environmental challenges and valorizing waste cellulose resources for industrial wastewater treatment.
