Abstract

The article discusses the necessity and possibility of how to use virtual digital environments while solving unconventional mathematical problems. It also compares a few ways of solution to the Bertrand paradox problem with traditional visual methods and the MathKit virtual environment. The support of interactive modelling platforms allows students to form holistic and integrated knowledge on the subject.
