Abstract

The article delves into the hydroformylation of lower olefins using rhodium catalysts, highlighting the development of four distinct processes (R-Oxo I-IV) by LLC 'RN-RD Center'. These processes offer high selectivity, mild synthesis conditions, and the flexibility to produce various aldehydes from C2–C5 olefins. Notably, the R-Oxo I process demonstrates superior regioselectivity and chemical selectivity compared to cobalt-based processes. The article also explores the use of these aldehydes in the production of ester lubricating oils, emphasizing the potential to diversify the range of petrochemical products and adapt to market conditions. The development of nanofiltration technology for catalyst separation is another significant aspect, aiming to enhance process efficiency and reduce catalyst losses.
