Abstract

In recent years, the main approaches to improve the hydrogen storage properties of Mg-based materials include fabricating nanostructures, reducing the particle sizes, doping catalysts, and forming complex with other materials. However, it is difficult to accurately tailor the crystallinity, composition, and grain size of powder materials at the nanoscale. Due to the advantages of thin films in this aspect, the studies on the hydrogen storage properties of Mg-based thin films have been extensively performed.
