Abstract

The chapter examines the intricate dynamics of hydraulic systems, highlighting the critical role of pressure and flow rate in their operation. It identifies the sources of interfering pressures, including vibrations from mobile machines and structural elements, which can lead to deviations in system performance. The text provides a comprehensive analysis of how these vibrations affect hydraulic valves and lines, leading to issues such as uneven motion, positioning inaccuracies, and even system failures due to abrasion and leakage. Experimental studies are presented, showcasing the impact of external mechanical vibrations on pressure pulsations and the subsequent effects on hydraulic actuators. The chapter also explores passive vibration isolation methods, offering practical solutions to mitigate the adverse effects of vibrations on hydraulic systems. Through detailed graphs and visual aids, readers gain a deeper understanding of the amplitude-frequency spectra of vibrations and pressure pulsations, making this a valuable resource for those seeking to enhance the reliability and performance of hydraulic systems.
