Abstract

Im Gegensatz zu Arbeiten, die im Bezugsfeld der realen Auftragssituation entstehen, sind Projekte und Konzepte von Studenten an Designhochschulen oftmals frei von einschränkenden Rahmenbedingungen. Daher können studentische Arbeiten sogar höhere Qualitäten oder innovativere Ansätze aufweisen als vergleichbare Projekte der Praxis. Der diesjährige iF concept award communication hat diese These bestätigt, obwohl die hohe Erwartung der Jury, die sich sehr auf die Begutachtung der überaus vielfältigen Arbeiten freute, in diesem Jahr nur teilweise erfüllt werden konnte.
