Abstract

The article introduces an immersed boundary-conformal isogeometric LaTIn method for simulating multiscale composite microstructures with multiple non-linear interfaces. The method leverages the geometric flexibility of immersed methods and the advantages of conformal discretizations, enabling the treatment of non-conformal and non-linear interfaces. The approach is validated through numerical experiments, demonstrating its accuracy and efficiency in handling various geometries and non-linear interface behaviors. This work paves the way for efficient simulation of complex composite materials, with potential applications in various industries and research fields.
